Unfortunately, due to the low cost of electrical items today – when we break something, our first instinct is to throw it away and get a new one – unless its on warranty, at which point we will contact the company we purchased the item from and get them to send us a new one. The company will then usually dispose of the item themselves.
At EMOS Electronics ltd, we started out in our quest to reduce the amount of electrical items being sent to landfill as possible, and initially we did this by breaking the items down into reusable parts and selling them, or using them to refurbish other items that were the same or similar and then reselling them.
However, in more recent years we have taken this a step further.
We have invested in some state of the art equipment that allow us to break the actual LCD panels down into individual layers, and fix individual pixels or replace specific layers of the screens – then put them back together in our class 7 clean room.
We can repair almost any issue with any electrical item, from phones, tablets, laptops, TV’s, drones and more.
